Autobell Used Car Expert Trio Appears on a Live Radio Show

Autobell approaches closer to its customers through the TBN radio show “Traffic Age” every Saturday. A trio of used car experts of Autobell is to participate as an expert panel on "Traffic Age" to tell stories about traffic trends and cars. They will give tips to listeners on trading used cars through a corner called “Sell-Car Masters,” and attract their attention on Hyundai Glovis and the brand Autobell. The show is expected to generate great effects since most listeners are drivers. Let’s tune into the station to hear about the used cars, from Autobell!

Before the panels were decided, one thing that was considered the most was, “How can we deliver the information on used cars in the easiest and most efficient way?” As a result, three communicative competent people who were knowledgeable and experienced in Autobell, as well as used cars in general, were selected. Senior Manager LEE KYU CHANG of the Auto-Biz (Pre-Owned Cars) Team, Senior Manager PARK JOON SEOK of the Autobell Sales Team, and Senior Manager JOO SOON JONG of the Auto-Biz (Pre-Owned Car) Operation Team are the ones who were selected. They will take turns in delivering the pre-owned car business information including Autobell to the listeners. Q. You’ve been selected as the top agents. Please tell us how you feel about being on the show.


LEE KYU CHANG   I am so happy to inform people about the company and about Autobell. I feel nervous about being on a live show, but I am also excited.

PARK JOON SEOK   I feel puzzled, but I feel happy about broadcasting good information, even though for a short time. In addition to delivering accurate information, I will also help in raising the brand awareness of Hyundai Glovis Autobell.

JOO SOON JONG   I was grateful when I was given the chance to be on the show. It’s exciting to talk about my opinions of Autobell on the radio, but I’m also very nervous.



Q. What are your attitudes toward the show?


LEE KYU CHANG   Although the interest in used cars is increasing, people still feel nervous and unsure about buying and selling used cars. So I would like to give them useful and reassuring tips about the used car trade through the show.

PARK JOON SEOK   Since it's a radio and a live show, I will try not to cause any distraction by stumbling over or mispronouncing the words. More importantly, I will check the accuracy of related material in advance so that no inaccurate information will be delivered to the listeners.

JOO SOON JONG   Since I represent Auto-Biz and Hyundai Glovis on the show, I plan to behave in a calm and responsible manner. I will also prepare some interesting facts so that the listeners won’t be bored. Also, my wife was very happy and excited about my appearing on the show. So, I will try my best not to disappoint the company, as well as my family.




Q. How are you preparing for the radio show, specifically?


LEE KYU CHANG   First, I am considering how to explain the things that people will want to know about. I also prepared some calming pills so I won't be too nervous on the show.

PARK JOON SEOK   I suffer from rhinitis in-between seasons, so I’m taking care of my throat. I plan to not have any drinks the night before the show so I can talk with clarity in a good condition. I have my schedule set for the next six months, like a celebrity, so I’m adjusting my private schedules and trips with my family, etc.

JOO SOON JONG   I guess what’s most important will be pronunciation and tone of voice. So I’m working on abdominal breathing and vocal exercises, like I used to do when I was in the high school choir.



Q. What features of Autobell do you plan to highlight on the show?


LEE KYU CHANG   I want to emphasize “fair, trustworthy trade” the most. And while I introduce the car auctions that are not popular in Korea yet, I want to tell everyone that we are the company with the largest car auction house in Korea.

PARK JOON SEOK   I also want to emphasize Hyundai Glovis’ credibility. The used car market is seen as a somewhat dark, not easily approachable market. So I would emphasize that Autobell is not only fast and easy, but provides a reliable service that you would want to use again.

JOO SOON JONG   I am in charge of general activities of auction operations in the Auto-Biz (Pre-Owned Car) Operation Team. So, I can emphasize the fairness and price competitiveness of Hyundai Glovis with some case examples.


Q. Are there any reactions or effects you expect to see through this radio show?


LEE KYU CHANG   To be honest, people usually think about Encar and Hey Dealer first when they think of used cars. I hope that people will soon first think of Autobell, and that this will lead to better sales.

PARK JOON SEOK   I feel the same. I wish more people will know about Autobell, and by raising the brand awareness, Autobell will be trusted by more customers.

JOO SOON JONG   Ordinary people do not put up their used cars for auction; they usually sell their cars through a salesperson. Through this radio show, I want to emphasize that putting up used cars for auction is not difficult, so more people can sell cars on auction

Q. You started the first step on the radio show, among the three of you. How did it feel to actually be on the show?


LEE KYU CHANG   I was very nervous because this was my first time being on a show. The host led me well and put me at ease. I realized that the people in this business are really great. I was embarrassed at times when questions and answers didn’t go according to the script, even though I prepared well in advance. Eventually, I tried to think that I was just talking about used cars with the MC, and not being on a live show. I think that it will help the other panels to sound more natural if they think the same way when they are on the show.
