Launch of Autobell,
a used car platform made by car experts

Hyundai Glovis launched Autobell, an integrated used car platform that connects the domestic used car industry and the consumers. Through various services of the new platform, Autobell establishes relationships with used car dealers and creates a win-win opportunity for all market participants by building high trust with consumers.

The advantage of Autobell is that used car dealers can participate in the auctions held at the auction centers of Hyundai Glovis in Bundang, Sihwa, and Yangsan, and sell the winning cars immediately on the Autobell platform. Consumers can also purchase transparently traded cars through certified auction members without worrying about false offers.

In addition, three services are provided for consumers who want to sell their cars. Firstly, for visiting sales, a professional appraiser visits your place to handle all procedures one-stop by simply entering the vehicle information. For comparative estimate sales, when vehicle information and photos are entered, competitive bidding is conducted for 24 hours to sell the car to the dealer selected finally by the customer. Finally, by using the no-evaluation sales service introduced for the first time in Korea, you can use the actual market price information to upload the photo of your car and sell it without complex procedures.

Hyundai Glovis plans to develop Autobell into the largest online used-car platform in Korea based on the know-how accumulated through operation of its used-car auction business, etc.

Awarded Leadership A grade in CDP Climate Change Program
and selected as Carbon Management Honors Club for 2 consecutive years

Hyundai Glovis received the Leadership A grade, the highest grade, in the “CDP Climate Change Response Sector” and was selected for the Carbon Management Honors Club for two consecutive years. This was in recognition of continuous eco-friendly management, and Hyundai Glovis is the only Korean logistics company winning the Leadership A grade and Carbon Management Honors Club.

CDP requests disclosure of information related to climate change responses by major listed and unlisted companies in each country and publishes a report annually. The results are used as investment guidelines for financial institutions around the world, and it is considered the most reliable global sustainability evaluation index.

In this CDP climate change response evaluation, about 110 items in 16 areas related to climate-change response, such as greenhouse gas emissions and greenhouse gas reduction goals, were evaluated. The evaluation grade is divided into a total of eight ─ from leadership A, the highest, to leadership A-, management B, and management B-, etc. The Leadership A grade was acquired by 200 companies out of about 13,000 worldwide, with only four in Korea.

Hyundai Glovis, after winning the Leadership A- grade for the first time in 2016, has maintained the top ranking for six consecutive years. It introduces electronic and hydrogen vehicles to logistics sites, and also expands eco-friendly and low-carbon management in various business fields. As a result, Hyundai Glovis was able to acquire the highest grade by receiving high evaluations in establishing strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, etc. Hyundai Glovis plans to continue to take the lead in eco-friendly management as the representative logistics company in Korea.
