Christmas Gifts Delivered
to Children in Local Communities

Hyundai Glovis donated presents to 500 children in the local community as a part of it’s year-end charity program. In consideration of the current COVID19 situation, the presents were delivered in a contactless manner, to the children in Busan and Ulsan, where Hyundai business sites are located.

For this event, more than 30 employees volunteered to make the Christmas lights and presents at home for the children. Social workers at the local children's centers in Busan and Ulsan delivered school and winter supplies, as well as Christmas lights to the children’s homes by placing them at the door.

Hyundai Glovis has been providing free transportation for transporting disaster relief supplies since 2013. This year, Hyundai Glovis transported more than 1,100 tons of COVID quarantine emergency relief supplies across the country and 100 tons of disaster relief supplies to those affected by the flood, all free of charge. Also, various social contribution activities have been carried out to help local communities faced with the unexpected corona virus situation. For example, in May 2020, coloring books handmade by the employees, along with flowers, were delivered to 300 single-household elderlies in the region in a contactless manner.

Hyundai Glovis has been supplying relief goods for the past 3 years to share warmth with the local communities. Hyundai Glovis will continue to do so as a part of fulfilling our social responsibilities.
